The launch pad has been operating in its new location for three years now, but how has it done in helping students decide what next? 

The Launch pad, located inside the Holgate building, is there to help students decide what is next upon their life journey. 

Students can seek guidance from the highly experience individuals working within The Launch Pad.  

This can be with help from anything to placements, for practical courses such as teaching, to studying abroad. 

The Launch Pad since relocating to their new site have been very successful and have helped numerous students decide what they want to do after school as well as helping many students secure placements and other opportunities.  

They also help with things such as funding and scholarships and can help students who are struggling financially as well as helping students know if they are eligible for a scholarship to the university.  

Support is also provided for those from minority groups such as LGBTQ+ and ethnic minorities across the whole of the York St John’s campus.  

The Launch pad can help any student looking for guidance on their future and that is why in the last three years their relocation to the Holgate building has largely been a great success.
