On a dark, cold winter evening train strikes have caused many delays to commuters.  

Many people have been left stranded on platforms as industrial action takes place for workers across the country. 

Here in York customers looked disgruntled as they awaited delayed and cancelled services to simply travel home.  

Couples and individuals alike were seen walking from platform to platform as the ideally awaited their service as the time continued to tick on customer grew more anxious that services would never come. 

One commuter who wished to remain anonymous said this of the strikes “Obviously it’s disappointing and I hope the government see the issue now.”
